Portable power stations, solar panels, and charging accessories for camp and backup power.
Goal Zero Yeti power stations, Nomad solar panels, and accessories. Compare energy capacity, output, charging compatibility, and product notices.
Goal Zero offers Yeti power stations, solar panels, and charging accessories for camp and backup power. Start with the loads you need to run, how long you need them, and how you’ll recharge.
The current catalog includes stations and compatible solar and charging equipment. Check storage capacity, continuous output, input limits, expansion options, and the weight of the complete setup. Confirm compatibility by model, especially when combining older accessories with a newer station.
August 2026 — Yeti 3000X: CPSC’s recall notice covers the 120V Yeti 3000X power station because it can overheat, creating fire and burn hazards. Owners should stop using affected units and follow Goal Zero’s free firmware-update remedy, contacting the company if help is needed.
Earlier accessory recalls also remain relevant to owners of older equipment:
December 2020, recall 21-050: about 4,500 Yeti 25A Fast Charge power supplies, recalled because loose connections could overheat; three overheating reports, no injuries, free repair.
February 2025, recall 25-159: about 530 Solar Series combiner cables sold with Nomad panels and the Yeti PRO 4000, recalled after two fires with property damage; full refund.
Check the exact model against the relevant notice, including accessories purchased separately.
Top-of-band pricing with manufacturer specs. Yeti watt-hours and output ratings are Goal Zero’s listings for named models, the same as everyone else’s on this shelf — the price does not buy third-party test data.
Check product notices. The notices above cover both a station and accessories. Confirm whether equipment you own is affected and follow the official remedy.
Confirm accessory support. Check current cables, charging options, service, and warranty terms for the exact model, particularly when buying older equipment.
The basecamp that wants finished product. Yeti plus Nomad is the category’s most polished kit, priced accordingly.
Home backup in the current line. The PRO end aims at outage duty.
Not for: installed systems — that is component territory — or price-first buyers, who are better served by Jackery and EcoFlow on the same shelf.
The early-mover claim is real and dated. A 2009 founding with a named product, confirmed by an acquirer’s own paperwork, beats the vague “pioneering spirit” copy this category usually runs on.
The record is legible. Recalls filed, remedies issued, ownership on the public record — a brand you can actually audit.
A range built around portable power. Compare the station and compatible charging equipment as a complete setup.
When the basecamp needs to feel like a product rather than a project, we reach for Goal Zero.
BioLite announced its acquisition of Goal Zero in April 2025. Use current Goal Zero documentation and support information for the equipment you own.

Shenzhen — power stations from the engineer who built DJI's battery department, sold like consumer electronics, which is both the appeal and the caveat.

Fremont, California — the brand that made the power station a mass-market category, founded by a former Apple battery engineer and built in China.
