Duck Camp’s Dove Kit is a collection of separately listed gear and clothing, rather than one fixed package. The most useful starting point is the carry: do you want storage around your waist, or a vest with shoulder straps?

This is a researched collection spotlight, checked October 24, 2026. We have not field-tested these products. The specifications below come from Duck Camp; the fit checks are our buying considerations.

Canvas Shell & Game Bag Set: start at the waist

The Canvas Shell & Game Bag Set in Pin Oak/Wheat uses a waxed outer fabric of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, with a polyester lining. Duck Camp describes it as water resistant and lists a nylon webbing belt for a 32–40-inch waist, two bottle slots with drawcords and a zipped valuables pocket.

That waist range deserves attention before the color choice. Measure where you intend to wear the belt, over the clothing you expect to use. A trouser label is not necessarily the same measurement. When trying it on, check access to the pockets both standing and seated, then repeat with a realistic load.

The published water-resistance description is not a promise that contents will remain dry in sustained rain. Keep that distinction in mind if a phone or other moisture-sensitive item will travel in the bag.

Canvas Upland Strap Vest: compare the carrying format

The Canvas Upland Strap Vest adds adjustable shoulder and waist straps, front storage, rear bird storage and space for two water bottles. Its listed waxed fabric is also 65% polyester and 35% cotton; the webbing is nylon.

The practical question is whether you prefer this arrangement for your own load. Shoulder straps do not establish comfort by themselves. Check adjustment range, reach into the rear storage and whether the front compartments interfere with sitting or moving. We have not measured loaded comfort or usable compartment volume, so those remain questions for an in-person comparison.

Lightweight Hunting Shirt: a separate decision

Duck Camp’s short-sleeve Lightweight Hunting Shirt in Midland is listed as 100% nylon, with mesh ventilation and a hidden zipped pocket. The manufacturer describes it as quick-drying and rates it UPF 30+; we have not independently tested either claim.

Choose the shirt around fit and conditions, rather than treating a coordinated collection as a requirement to buy every piece. Try normal reaching and bending movements, and consider how a bag belt or vest sits over it. A clothing purchase and a storage purchase can solve different problems.

Our starting point

Compare the bag and vest first, using the essentials you actually intend to carry. Then assess whether your existing clothing already does the job. The collection is useful as a shortlist; it does not settle individual fit, comfort or capacity.
